Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to oversee and manage operations for a significant 10km breakwater construction project. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in marine construction, particularly with proven experience using Accropode technology on large breakwater jobs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily site operations, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Manage a team of construction workers, delegating tasks and responsibilities effectively.
• Collaborate closely with the Construction Manager to implement project plans and schedules.
• Monitor progress and performance against project timelines, identifying any issues and proposing solutions.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices during construction activities.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain accurate records of project activities, including labor, materials, and equipment usage.
• Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders involved in the project.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Construction Foreman on large-scale marine projects, specifically breakwaters.
• Extensive knowledge of Accropode technology and its application in breakwater construction.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with construction methodologies, safety protocols, and relevant regulations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications in construction management or similar fields are preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in marine construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Direct experience working on breakwater projects using Accropode is essential.
