Project Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager for a significant 10km breakwater project located in India. This project will involve advanced construction techniques and substantial engineering challenges, particularly the use of Accropode units to ensure structural stability and durability against marine conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of the construction process for the breakwater project, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure effective project execution and compliance with design specifications.
  • Manage on-site resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, ensuring optimal utilization and safety compliance.
  • Implement and monitor project schedules, conducting regular progress assessments and adjusting plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and health and safety protocols throughout the construction process.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Prepare and present project reports and updates to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and addressing any potential issues.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management, with substantial experience specifically in breakwater projects.
  • Proven expertise in the use of Accropode units on large-scale breakwater constructions.
  • Strong knowledge of marine construction methods and technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • International work experience, particularly in developing countries.
  • Proficiency in local languages is a plus but not mandatory.
