Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Dredging Superintendent to oversee and manage our large dredging and reclamation project in India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading similar large-scale island reclamation projects and possess exceptional leadership and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate all dredging activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and safety standards.
• Develop and implement dredging plans and schedules in collaboration with project managers and engineers.
• Monitor and assess the performance of dredging operations, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices throughout all phases of the project.
• Liaise with government authorities, stakeholders, and contractors to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to uphold safety and quality standards.
• Train and mentor site personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety awareness.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in dredging and reclamation, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven experience in managing large island reclamation projects, preferably in an expat capacity.
• Strong understanding of dredging methodologies, equipment, and environmental considerations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in challenging environments and adapt to changing project demands.
• Relevant engineering or technical degree is preferred.
