Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Jack-Up Barge Master to oversee the safe and efficient operation of a jack-up barge during the construction of an LNG jetty in the United Arab Emirates. The Barge Master will be responsible for all marine activities, barge positioning, safety management, and coordination with project, marine, and construction teams. This role requires strong leadership, advanced technical understanding of offshore construction operations, and proven experience on similar large-scale energy or marine infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Command and manage all jack-up barge operations.
• Plan and execute barge positioning, jacking, and marine construction support activities.
• Enforce HSSE standards, conduct safety briefings, and maintain compliance with maritime regulations.
• Lead and supervise the barge crew and onboard activities.
• Coordinate with project management, marine logistics, and client representatives.
• Maintain barge systems, equipment, and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Maritime certification.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Barge Master on jack-up barges.
• Proven experience on marine infrastructure or LNG jetty/terminal projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and safety management skills.
