Job Title: Project Manager - Dredging and Reclamation

Project Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for a large-scale dredging and reclamation project aimed at developing a 1200-hectare island in the sea. This ambitious project requires a skilled leader to oversee all phases of execution, ensuring that it meets quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of the dredging and reclamation project from initiation to completion.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with engineering teams and subcontractors to ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines.
- Implement effective risk management strategies to identify potential issues and mitigate risks.
- Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and environmental guidelines related to dredging, revetment, and shore protection.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure quality control and safety protocols are followed.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, government bodies, and local communities.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil/Marine Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within large dredging and reclamation projects.
- Proven track record in managing revetment and shore protection works.
- Strong understanding of marine engineering principles and environmental best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working as an expat on international projects.
- Knowledge of local regulations and practices in India related to marine construction.
- Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent is an advantage.
